In 1985, the Thompson family established Golden Wattle Dairy on 200 acres of pristine farmland in Victoria, Australia. With a small herd of 50 dairy cows and a commitment to quality, the family began producing milk for local markets. By 1998, Golden Wattle Dairy had expanded its product line beyond fresh milk to include artisanal cheeses, yogurt, and cream. In 2005, Golden Wattle Dairy underwent a significant expansion, acquiring an additional 300 acres of adjacent land and increasing their herd to 200 cows.
